Hello and welcome!! My name is Amy Barta and I'm so glad you're here!

During my growing up years, I dabbled with many different forms of creative expression, but when I inherited my mom's sewing machine in 2008, I knew quilting was a hobby where I would never get bored. It truly is a passion and there is always something new to learn or a skill to master!

Most of the quilts I make are given away as gifts (every new baby at my church gets a quilt) or donated to charities.  The joy is in the making and I can't keep them all! Trust me, I still have plenty of quilts all around the house to cuddle up under on the beds or couch. 😉

I keep my blog quilt related most of the time, but occasionally I talk about the other loves of my life: my precious husband, Russ, and my darling grandchildren.
