Posting every Monday has been too difficult for me. I would much rather just post a memory whenever I come up with one. Less pressure that way. :o)

I have been emailing Shirley, her best friend of over 40 years, and have asked her if I could do email interviews with her to learn more about my mom as a woman and friend and learn more about Shirley, since she has always been in my life, too. :o) She agreed, so watch for them in the days to come

I've also updated my button for my mom. I love having Photoshop to help make things. The sheep picture is a scan of the lid mom painted. I had posted about it here. I think it's more fitting to have a button that she helped me create. I am toying with the idea of using the scan of the sheep as my header, too. We'll see. :o)

Yes, I am vain...And I drink way too much coffee. The stains in my teeth testify to that fact. I decided to give the Crest Whitestrips a try. I figured if I was going to give this a try, to go all out and get the Premium Plus ones. It's a 10 day regimen where you wear disgusting looking hardly noticeable strips on your teeth twice a day for 30 minutes. I am on day 6. There is a difference in the color that I can see and so far, there isn't an increase in tooth sensitivity. Because of the expense, I won't be buying them more than twice a year at most. 

If you have used a tooth whitener, I would be interested in hearing about your experiences.

This one has been in the works for a long time. Brooklyn is coming to visit and spending the night on Monday, so I wanted to get this finished in time to get it printed for Jen and Kayla. :o) 

The first step was to fix the actual photograph. Here is how it looked originally.

I had taken four pictures of the three of them on the deck swing last summer. None of them were good of all three of them. I used the handy-dandy clone tool in Photoshop Elements and plopped Brooklyn's face from one of the pictures to the other. I wish it really was that easy! Although, I think I did pretty well, for being a major novice when it comes to using Photoshop. 

The layout kit is called Fuzzy Doodle Blooms by Melany Violette (Simply Clean Digi Scraps).
