Introducing the new line by Blank Quilting called Lola. I am featuring the neutral color way of this pretty line.
I bought a new ruler that has been waiting for the perfect fabric and project to be put to use, the Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star ruler by Debbie Tucker. Great ruler, by the way. The Lola fabric line was a wonderful choice to put the ruler to use for the first time and it did not disappoint. I think the Lemoyne Star makes this fabric sing and when the skinny quilt is finished, it will look lovely hanging on my front door for the fall season.
I'll post more pictures of my skinny quilt when I get it all quilted up. =)
Make sure you go see what Debby @Debby Kratovil Quilts and Linda @Buzzing and Bumbling created using Lola.
Have a happy week, everyone!
Very nice! Thanks for sharing, and for the "thumbs up" on the ruler.
ReplyDeleteThat is lovely and will be perfect for fall. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, but let's not think about FALL already!!! ;)
ReplyDeleteThey look great! The stars really pop. I'm fine thinking about fall....we're supposed to hit triple digits and have high humidity....seriously thinking about moving north! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat runner looking forward to seeing it quilted.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty Amy. I do love stars of any sorts!
ReplyDeleteHow lovely! I can't wait to see it quilted.
ReplyDeleteHow pretty all done up, Amy! The "blades" of the star are large enough to focus on the lovely prints. I love that golden toned background especially. Way to go, Blank and way to go Amy.
ReplyDeleteWow Love the way you used this fabric. I love the way it shows the fabric.
ReplyDeleteThis looks awesome! I love the fabric choices. Very Autumn looking! :)
ReplyDeleteQuestion: How did you get into "showcasing" quilt fabrics? Do you do this for your local quilt store?
Your skinny quilt would be great as a tablerunner as well. Very cute.
ReplyDeleteYour stars are very pretty. I am in place mat mode. I think they might make nice place mates. At my house, they would be on the table until anyone came near them with food. Then I would hop up and say, WAIT, WAIT! Let me get the old ones. These are the good ones and just for company!
ReplyDeleteYour skinny quilt is very pretty! I like that star block.
ReplyDeleteHi Amy. I am visiting from Debby's blog. I really like your skinny quilt. It would be perfect for a table runner. This pattern is one of my favorites. I have used it over and over again so seeing your quilt made my day. Your quilt is really beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI saw a demo of the Rapid Fire Hunter's Star ruler. I like the Lemoyne Star more. Yours looks fabulous. I love the colors.
ReplyDeleteI have a rapid fire hunter's star ruler and would like to try the Lemoyne star too.
ReplyDeleteI love your skinny quilt. That's a good idea to use a skinny quilt on a door.
What great looking stars you made! Love the fabric.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Amy! How perfect!!
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous fabrics. Thanks for the comment about the ruler too, I have been wondering about it.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabrics. Don't you love that ruler? I learned how to use it and then used it to teach my mother how to make a star quilt with more layers to the star. She had great tutorials on YouTube.
ReplyDeleteThat a great skinny quilt - the honeysuckle and the bricks in the background are perfect for the color ways!
ReplyDeleteI've cruised around Blank Quilting's FB page and site. Some neat designs! And I love the Charity Project they have available for shops.
ReplyDeletePretty colors. I love stars in quilts.
ReplyDeleteLove your stars. Big fan of stars right now, just so nice.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, I love those colors!!?
ReplyDeleteWow. The Lemoyne Star block really did harmonize well with that fabric! Good job. :-)
