Today is a resting day. I am recovering from a migraine that was triggered by the eye appointment I had on Thursday. And they wonder why I don't make yearly appointments? =/
This last week, I played with scraps....
Got some orphan blocks out of storage and made into mini quilts.
What do you do with your orphan blocks?
Mug rugs, potholders, pillow tops and mini wall hangings. Those are some of the uses I have used before. Save them all and do a real scrappy couch quilt too. Looks like fun. Chris
ReplyDeleteI have used my orphan block (lol, only one so far) to make a pillow to match dad's quilt. Ps...I love your pouches!
ReplyDeleteI have made mug rugs, pillows and mostly stacked them up in the closet! Your little pouches are adorable!!
ReplyDeleteEverything is darling! So sorry about your migraine-they stink. I don't have any orphan blocks. :) Have a great Sunday.
ReplyDeleteThey are all SEW cute!!!
ReplyDeleteThey are all so pretty! Love that Dresden. What do I do with orphan blocks Hmmmmm....they are still sitting on my shelf. ;)
ReplyDeleteLove your scrap play....
ReplyDeleteLove what you're doing with your orphan blocks. I usually try to fit them in the back sometimes, but I'm going to keep your solution in mind, love it.
ReplyDeleteHmmmm, I can't say that I have many orphan blocks but I do have a few ufo's hanging around my sewing room, but those don't count, right? The few that I do have are from the first time I learn how to make a block and usually stay hanging on my wall to help me remember how to make the block. I'd really like to frame them and make a collage on my wall. Maybe when we move, I'll have room to do just that. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteWhat cute projects with your orphan blocks. I've only added some blocks to the backs of quilts. One of these days I need to find all the orphans and see what I can do with them.
ReplyDeleteVery Sweet! I just caught these!!
ReplyDeleteI do have a few orphan blocks but I can't say that I have done much with them. I will have to think about using them after seeing your inspiration.
