Having a prodigal child is painful. How to deal with a prodigal child is confusing.
Abraham Piper, son of Pastor John Piper, was a prodigal and wrote a very encouraging article that all parents should read. I know I was very blessed by it and will refer to it often as I love and pray for my two prodigal children.

I love this article and have printed it out and put it in my Bible. I am the mom of two prodigals also although mine are still at home (sometimes). I pray that article will be a blessing to many!
