Weeping with those who weep...

February 9, 2011

I began a new quilt last weekend with the intention to give it to my friend, Karyn, however, the whole time I was making it, I kept thinking that it looked more like J and should be for her. Monday morning, the sad news was announced... J lost her baby...My goal to today, to get this quilt finished and to take it to J's home.

Please pray for J...

  1. It is so good to be sensitive to the Lord's little nudges, aren't you happy that 1- you already knew it was to be gifted, and 2- you had it going together this far?
I'll pray for your friend, and that you can complete this soon, for that quilty hug!
May God bless you, as you bless others, Amy!

  2. What a beautiful quilt with all it's warm colours - hopefully J takes comfort from your quilt, and your prayers and hugs.
I'll be praying for her too.

  3. How kind of you to wrap your friend in comfort at a time like this ... no words can make her feel what a quilted hug will. Prayers for God's peace ... Bless you Amy.
