At the last minute, Russ took the day off today and took me to the I-80 Quilt Shopper's One-Stop Shopping Spree. We had a great time, as always. I love spending time with my hubby. =)
These are a few of the things that came home with me, with the exception of the Modern Basics book. That was waiting for me at home. =)
I love your little sheep and I have that turtle fabric, I think it is so fun!
ReplyDeleteI saw the little sheep first too! Love the turtle fabric - so fun!
ReplyDeleteSomeone here did the Farmer's Wife quilt; it's currently hanging up at my LQS, waiting to be quilted. It's quite similar to the Civil War quilt. I signed up to do that one as a BOM - I have the first 2 months worth, but other than buying the fabric for the blocks, I haven't really touched them....and the next set come out next Sat.!!! Guess what I'll be doing REALLY soon....!
Wonderful purchases.....glad you two had a good time.
ReplyDeleteFor nothing loved is a pleasure!

*grin* I just picked up Modern Basics at my LQS last night! It was still at the "pre-order" stage around my birthday in January, so I belatedly gifted myself. I love the Farmer's Wife, particularly the stories that go along with the blocks. And, hehehe...I have at least a yard of that turtle -- along with some super cute brown/blue/green polka dots that is bound for a baby quilt {one of these days...} You have a super husband, for sure!
ReplyDelete@ Bev: Russ picked out the turtle fabric because I have a best friend who collects turtles. It is fun. Now to decide what to make with it. =)
ReplyDeleteThe sheep was a "I gotta have it."
