This is one of my all time favorites. So out of the norm, color wise, than what I am usually drawn to.
The backing was a Goodwill score from last year. Six yards for little to nothing.
The one "mistake." Two triangles facing each other.
This one is being gifted, but I can't say to who...Yet...
What a lovely quilt Amy! Lucky recipient.....
ReplyDeleteGod bless!
So beautiful!! I love the way you quilted it, it looks very snuggly!!
ReplyDeleteI love your fabric selection! What you added to go with the FMF works really well.
ReplyDeleteAmy, what a beautiful quilt. Who ever receives this quilt will be
ReplyDeleterejoicing with joy.
That looks so good. I feel like your FMF bundle was redeemed with this quilt.
ReplyDeleteLove your quilt. I always say there is suppose to be one mistake in every quilt as we are not all perfect so our quilts shouldn't be either. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteIt is gorgeous! Very lucky recipient indeed who won't even notice the "mistake". Gives it charm & character. Don't you love good finds?! Can't believe you found that backing at Goodwill. What a great day that was! :)
ReplyDeleteReally like it but it looks a bit difficult to me with matching...
ReplyDeleteNice work!!
I can see why it is your favorite!
