Lots of baby quilts

May 2, 2019

Remember the closet full of tops that needed to be finished? Well, I took some time last week to get the batting and binding ready and I got many of them basted so they would be ready to be quilted when the mood struck. I underestimated how long it took to quilt the baby quilts and in just a couple of days, I had 5 of them all finished! The rainy weather contributed to the many hours I got to spend in my sewing room. We need a break!!

They are nothing fancy nor are they quilted fancy, but they will keep babies warm. It feels good to get some stash off of the shelving and out of the bins made into something useful...

Until next time!!

  6. WOW, I love these. You are on fire🔥
These are sweet and look very engaging for a little one. A treasure really!

I always feel I am running behind. That is something I have never felt before until.... well, I started being a caregiver again. It is okay. I just get done what I can and be content. You very well know how that is.
I hope and always strive. Hoping and striving haha
Happy Friday, I am racing around and then I will drive over to Lizzie (35-40 mins) to play with Lena and Aveline. They are so silly

  8. Your quilts are so cute and colorful! Great job! I am working on baby quilts to donate right now. I love to make baby size since they go more quickly but never use up the stash. Oh well. :)
