Triangles...The big picture

November 29, 2012

 The colors make me happy....

The points are far from perfect in some places, but it really doesn't matter. =) So all my newbie quilters, don't worry about perfect points. Do the best you can and keep on going. You learn with every quilt. My next one will be better.

See? When looking at the big picture, you don't see the less than perfect points. =)

I have  a plan for this quilt, but I have to keep it a secret for now. Shhhhhhh....

  3. The BIG picture is beautiful!...and you are right...they don't always have to be perfect.

Also, did you use a template to cut out the triangles?

  4. Love your fabrics and color schemes. Your points all look fine to me. I'm glad you said what you said for new quilters though. I am one and I sometimes wonder 'what happened' between the time I cut those out and they got sewn together! :D I just warn everyone not to look too closely!

  6. What a great encouragement to new quilters. After 20+ years, my points still do not often match. And you are right, one learns something from every quilt.

I think this is the first time I have seen a quilt made up in Flea Market Fancy. I always read about a quilters stash of it, but never see it made into a quilt. Way to go Amy.
