Edit: I got over myself, fixed my hair and ran to get the thread. Back to quilting!!
I am working on this quilt, which is very far removed from my normal color schemes. I am trying something new and using prairie points as the binding. The argh part? I ran out of thread I was using in the bobbin. I need to go buy more and that would mean I would I need to get dressed and do my hair. Argh! Don't wanna!!
Now you know how lazy I can be....=) I can always start a new project, right?
Love the quilt, it's softer side of you. Now put on a hat, throw on some lip gloss and you're good to go!

You can go and then get a quick sandwich while out and you have a different outlook on the rest of your day. Spring is 16 days away. The quilt is really pretty. Chris
ReplyDeleteWell, Amy, I don't think you can be called lazy unless you just sit there and do NOTHING, rather than get dressed and fix your hair ! You are just particular about HOW you use your energies, (starting a new project), and that is called SMART ! LOL ! Have a great day !
ReplyDeleteOh My Goodness...I absolutely LOVE your quilt! I am really loving the rose and brown color combination and see one in my future, definitely!
ReplyDeleteAmy. It's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThis quilt is stunning. I love your prairie point border you are making. So good to know I have company in the stay home instead of dressing and putting on face and hair to go out. I see you did...edit...Bless you dear.
ReplyDeleteOh lawd, dear... you sound like me when "I'm on a mission" to get something done. In fact, that will be me the next two days.
ReplyDeleteNO makeup, no hair... Just me and my "comfy clothes" sitting at my machine getting it done.
Glad you got out and got your thread. YOu'll be thankful you did! :-)
I've been known to use another thread color. It's going to get covered up, right?
