The beginning of my first string quilt. I need to set it aside for now, but I won't be leaving it alone for too long. I really love this one.

ReplyDeleteCame thru your part of the world on Friday and again yesterday; a trip to St. Joe, MO for a wedding. It's so much prettier south side of Des Moines where the countryside is rolling! Our usual trek to DSM from Mpls is FLAT! Such cheery colors on this quilt top! A tabletopper?

I don't know what a string quilt is, since I am a non-quilter that stalks your blog! But it sure is pretty! I keep trying to do a little bit of quilting, but it sure is hard!
