Pool is up!

May 8, 2008

It'll take over 14 hours to fill it with water and the water will be very c-o-l-d! The first year we had the pool, the boys were so excited to get in right away. They lasted less than 30 seconds and decided to wait a week to let the sun warm it up a bit. This year, however, we bought a solar cover, so as soon as it does it's job and it warms up outside, we will be able to swim. This will be our forth summer with the pool. I was totally against getting one. Now I don't want to be without one. We use it a lot.

  3. Amy,

How do you store your pool during the winter?

  4. The liner gets folded up as best as I can get it and I store it in the basement on a shelf under the stairs, along with the poles and other junk.

  6. How nice. We've often spoke about getting a pool. It would be used soooo much here, particularly since we're in town now, with the Grandchildren.
    Hummmmm....still a very nice thought.

The guys haven't put ours up this year. They will do it soon. Due to our water situation, we'll have to fill it much slower than usual.

We bought ours at Sam's and this is our third year for this one. We've had pools at other homes and really like this one. Our others were difficult in the winter time. We had the blanket with the last one and really liked it.
