Do all to the glory of God

It's so nice to be getting back to my normal schedule of Russ being back to work after a week of vacation, me back to work at home schooling the boys and tending the house.

I confess, I have been lazy about doing the things I ought to be doing. Things my husband is counting on me to do as his help-meet. I have not been as much of a blessing to him as I should be. I am very blessed that he is merciful and kind to me even with all my failings as a wife.

The Scripture that comes to mind is:

So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31

I don't make New Year's resolutions, I have a life long resolution, that can only be done by the grace of God, who lives within me and that is, to glorify God in all that I do and say...And that begins in my home, out of the watchful eyes of the world, lest I be seeking the world's praise...
